On Thursday, April 26th, Play-Well Pleasanton hosted a field trip for 75 third graders from John F. Kennedy Elementary. Students came by for a morning full of fun, learning how to use various forms of energy (electric, chemical, wind) to power vehicles. The kids cycled through three different stations learning how to build cars powered by batteries, their own muscles, and even wind! Check out some of the pictures from the event below. We also do on-site Play-Well engineering field trips at schools. If you would like to find out how we can do an Play-Well Engineering Field Trip Program at your school, simply email Jeff at firstname.lastname@example.org. Feedback From the Field Trip:
“I want to let you know how much the students, parents, and teachers enjoyed the field trip last week. Words cannot express how impressed everyone was with your facility, professionalism, generosity, enthusiasm, and knowledge. I know you and everyone involved at Play-Well put a lot of time and thought into planning out the day. It was a huge success! All the students have written letters of appreciation. I’ll drop the letters in the mail this week. Thank you again for exposing the students to engineering concepts with legos. You have most definitely expanded their knowledge with energy.”
